Tomtom route planner

Thanks, but I use the planner on a MacBook...using Safari. That's still not working. However, using Chrome, I now have my places and my routes show up. Yippie!

There is something about the Safari log out that's not working, so I can't re-log in. Cleared the cache and cookies multiple times.

But at least I'm up and running...for now. We'll see how this works in a few weeks when I really need it...
I had this logout problem with Safari, I deleted cookies of plan.tomtom.com and then it worked.

You're right. Using Orion (webkit based like Safari), cleared my cookies and cache for *.tomtom.com, opened up the site again, logged in, and all my Places were back!

I'm doing as close to that same trick as I can with the TomTom Go Expert app seeing as it kept showing no places. I've removed the app entirely from my iOS phone, rebooted it, now installed it again and it's downloading maps as it has zero saved files anymore. I'll edit this post later to say whether that got it going.

Edit: Yep, I have my places back now in the TomTom Go Expert iOS app!

For me, the plan.tomtom.com planner now opens with both Chrome and Safari, and now has all My Places and My Routes reinstated. I have two iPhones, both running the same TomTom GO Expert app. Strangely, one phone had all the Places and Routes back on it, but the other phone didn't.

Looking at what was different between the two phones, one phone had MyDrive logged in (with Places and Routes back on there), but the other phone did not have MyDrive logged on. As soon as MyDrive was logged on to, I saw that the TomTom GO Expert app on that phone had TomTom Services > MyDrive un-ticked. But as soon as I checked that on again, all the Places and Routes reappeared.

Dunno if it is something new, but for me, for my Places and Routes to appear on the TomTom GO Expert app, it needed MyDrive logged in, but not just logged in, it has to be logged in on that exact same device.

Anyhow, for now, all my Places and Routes are back on the plan.tomtom.com web planner, and also on My Drive and TomTom GO Expert on both my iPhones. Fingers crossed.

Ok, I had tried that several times in the "early" stages of this problem to no effect. Just tried it now, and it worked! Thank you!

But.

Close the planner page and re-open, I'm automatically signed in. Places are gone, routes are there. Clear the cache and cookies again, sign in again, places and routes are back.

Repeat...same problem.

Try Chrome, everything works as it should. Places and routes are there, do not have to sign out and back in.

Try Safari again, and try signing out before I close the page. No effect, same problem. If I clear the cache and cookies before I log in, it works, but it seems right now I have to do that every time.

So, Chrome for now...

Now I can see my own places too. I don't know when they appeared, but they were visible when I looked just now.
I use Safari.

The planner seems to be working normally now for me using Safari.

Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Most people have recovered tbe data. Some people gave found it is necessary to log out and nack in again to restore data, mine has been restored.

No sign of mine reappearing yet - sigh. UK, using planner on Firefox. GO Discover device still set to not sync so I don't lose what I have re-added since the outage began .

Have you found your favorites on the planner?

Also, if you want to recover all your favorites from before the outage, you need to select MyDrive in the TomTom service.

It has already been stated that all favorites added after May 1st are lost.

My TomTom GO for Android places and routes still missing. Maybe UK/EU data is being restored separately.
Have you checked on your phone to make sure MyDrive is enabled?
On the planner, have you found your favorites? Check that you are properly connected.

All of my saved places returned to my TomTomGo app earlier this afternoon, the exception being recent destinations which is blank but isn't important for me. Logging into the MyDrive website from my PC and my saved places are also visible there.
A happy ending for me, but I'd have preferred to avoid the rough ride this past week.

I had logged off on the website, cleared cookies and logged back on. Places and Routes were back on the website planner. I logged out of the Android app, closed it, cleared the cache then logged back in. No change. I hadn't noticed that MyDrive Sync was turned off (I don't think I did this) but I've now turned it back on and everything is back.
Thanks, @Willy875

I've just noticed that the TomTom MyDrive website is now called Plan TomTom (I had wondered what the earlier references to Planner were about in this thread) and has an option for live traffic and satellite overlays - this is certainly more useful than it was when I last used it :) .

But if you look on your phone in settings, then TomTom service, it's still MyDrive.

That's true.

When the Android app splash-screen appears on my phone, the app is called "TomTom Go Expert"; in the Android installed apps list its called "Tomtom Go"; and in the Google Play store it's listed as "TomTom Go Expert: Truck GPS".

Confusing isn't it :) .

I can confirm all my stuff is back on my tomtom device. Turned my phones hot-spot on and connected and it all came back.

It is...

Desde un tiempo hacia aquí, TomTom se esta degradando, cada día un problema nuevo, los técnicos a todas marcha
