Software update problem

I updated my TomTom XXL on TomTom Home on my laptop now my sat nav will not work at all
It comes on and the TomTom sign comes on and that's the lot nothing else works
I have tried everything anyone any ideas? Has anyone had the same problem?

Are you saying it hangs at the opening TomTom screen?

Try the suggestions in each one in order, as that will start with the simplest and least disruptive.
