Purchase of map updates

Hi. I have now purchased two yearly map updates (I know, how stupid am I), because the first never worked. And now the second doesn’t work either! My sat nav is a Renault Carminat TomTom live

Did you buy the card with Tomtom Home or on the website?

If on the site do you have the card before buying, check that it is compatible with your Carminat.

It’s a genuine Renault spare part so definitely compatible

the SD card is original Renault
an update can be purchased either on Tomtom Home or on the Tomtom website.

If you bought the map on Tomtom Home with your Carminat account credentials, you should have no problem downloading it to your SD.

You’re right, I have no problem downloading the map nor the map updates. But the update never works. For instance I used to get a quarterly email telling me that an update was available. No longer
