go 720 or xl340s

Interested in the 340s for the inclusion of the Mexico mapping.
Can get the 720 for a slightly better price.
Would the 720 with an added Mexico map be a better overall unit, even though an older design? and higher cost with additional map, or would the 340s as is, being a later product work out better.

Really depends upon how much you want the FM Transmitter, mp3 player, picture viewer, phone hands free control and iPOD control capabilty (with the correct accessory cable), if any of the above are important go with the 720 as the other unit doesn't have these, in addition the 720 has the all important SD card slot for expanding the memory storage capacity of the device, all the way up to a huge 32GB - Mike
