TomTom Model(s)
Go 2505
I have been trying to copy favorites from a Go2505 to a Go60. After several failed attempts, I finally got the favorites copied to the computer but I have not succeeded getting the favorites copied to the Go60.
The issue is when right clicking the MyDrive Connect icon in the system tray, there is no list containing the "Manage community content" choice. I followed the TomTom help instructions selecting the open angle setting (Not sure of the exact wording) then the next choice both of which restarted MyDrive Connect. I then received an invitation to download an older version of MyDrive Connect. After it installed the "Manage community content" choice appeared and it worked to copy the favorites to the computer.
I disconnected the Go2505 and connected the Go60 to the computer. Started the process again but the "Manage community content" choice was not there. I uninstalled and reinstalled MyDrive Connect, installed MyDrive Connect on Windows 10, went back to Windows 11, was offered and installed the older version of MyDrive Connect on both 10 & 11, nothing worked. I was not able to get the "Manage community content" choice again?

Any information is appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. MyDrive is what I have been and am currently using without success?

No, you say in your message that you connect your GPS to Mydrive connect.

Mydrive connect and Mydrive are 2 different applications.

Thanks for your reply.
MyDrive Connect is the downloadable application listed by TomTom that would enable backing up and restoring Favorites, POIs and after several tries, it worked to backup my Go 2505?
I could not find "MyDrive" as a downloadable app for the Go 60? Apparently, I'm missing something?

We suggested to TomTom that calling all of a phone app, a web page, and a PC application "MyDrive" would create confusion, and indeed it did.

The GO 60 doesn't use the same mechanism for dealing with favorites as your 2505 because the GO 60 doesn't understand the 'community content' idea. However, it is possible to create a custom POI file (*.ov2) from your favorites and upload that file to your GO 60 using the MyDrive WEB page that Willy described above.

However, you first need to get those favorites into an *.ov2 file. See this thread here in our forums:

Thank you to Willy and everyone. With your help, I finally got past the MyDrive confusion and was able to copy the *.ov2 file on my computer to the Go 60.

Solved!

I finally succeeded in getting past the confusing MyDrive names and copied the favorites from the Go 2505 to the Go 60. I used MyDrive Connect to copy the 2505 favorites and POIs to my computer as *.ov2 file. Then i used MyDrive to copy the *.ov2 file to my Go 60.

Thanks to Willy and others for steering me through the confusing MyDrive naming mess.

Solved!
