Hello,
I bought the Tomtom Go Exclusive 7"in summer sale (in the Gui it says its the Tomtom Go Navigator 7) with the camper caravans route option. It works great but now I'm in search for a fixed car mount
I'm talking about a mount with a flat backplate that can be fixed with screws to the front of a dashboard or on a Brodit mounting kit

I had one in my old car car for an old and smaller tomtom.

I mean something like this: https://www.bol.com/nl/nl/p/tomtom-...HhovNZfixs-Zi-R0669hyJk-kxh8TYgIaAtK_EALw_wcB

But I think this one is for am ( older) 6" tomtom I guess.
I cannot find it in the tomtomshop and because I dont know if my new 7"navigator with USBc can fit on the one I found on above website, I hope you guys can help me out.

I had same trouble sourcing the correct parts but managed a set up on my brodit clip in my Ford Mondeo mk5 2016

I've found Brodit UK to be very helpful, isn't there a similar distributor in your country?

I had a brodit clip in my Mondeo for my Tom Tom 5200 ,basically I used part of that and took the one for the new Tom Tom exclusive off and screwed it onto that

I use a Brodit Clip exactly like that one with a Go Superior 7”
I also used another one of their mounts so that it can be easily removed allowing me to easily drop in my mobile phone.

Having installed the mount in the car, I thought that leaving an obvious SatNav mount on view might attract a thief's attention: I would like to easily remove the mount from the ProClip.

I enquired about the Brodit MoveClip, which allows different device holders to be used on the same ProClip. Unfortunately, the 215588 TomTom mount doesn't fit the MoveClip, as its plastic backplate is too thick.

Undeterred, I bought the 215503 MoveClip and have invalidated the warranty on my TomTom mount by filing down the edges of its plastic backplate so that it now fits.

MultiMoveClip: Complete set. With release button.

Maybe their similar product 215499 would also work.

I also have the exact same Mount in my car and also had to file it down on the two sides for it to fit. I was also concerned like you, about a thief thinking that I had a SatNav hidden in the car, so I went and bought the https://www.brodit.co.uk/brodit/holders I then fitted a Mobile Phone holder to it (Also from Brodit)
When I stopped anywhere It was then easy to slide out the SatNav complete with its mount and slide in the one with the mobile phone holder on. The SatNav would then go under the seat, and out of sight.
Oops, for some reason the link above didn’t work, but it’s the one mentioned in Tony’s post.

This was the old situation with the Go 6100 - 6 inch.
The setup was composed of Kuda SKU:520006055 Console Skoda Superb; Brodit 215053 Moveclip and the Brodit 215566 Mounting adapter TomTom GO 500/5000/600/6000.

By means of the "Moveclip", which is partly easy to slide upwards and removable, very simple to use in my other car that I had at the time.

In the meantime a new car and also a new nav: the TomTom Superior with 7 inch screen.
This was delivered with the 7 inch active magnetic mount.
I want to go back to a similar solution as before.

When I mounted the 7" nav on the old situation, it turned out that the ball of the old nav is 16.0 mm and of the 7 inch it is 16.5 mm. The nut of the 7 inch was tightened but the nav was still movable. That is why I compared the two original mounts.
Note that the neck diameter is also different to absorb the heavier weight and the suction cup is larger.

The neck diameter of the old mounting adaptor is fortunately also thick enough.
