problem transfer map from pc (Win7) to TomTom (ONE 2nd)

Transferring a newly downloaded map it stops about 2/3 of the file. Transferring the same file on my pc with Win XP al goes well ! How come and what to do ?

I'm not clear. If you DID transfer it on a XP machine, are you trying to install the same map using a computer with a different operating system?

Or, is it an updated map that you are trying to install using a W7 machine?

I downloaded the map from theTomTom site to my Win 7 pc and I downloaded the same map from ten TomTom site on my Win XP. Transfer from Win7 to my ONE 2nd it stopped in the file cline.dat.
Transfer from my Win XP to my ONE 2nd was succesfull.
