Okay, so I bought and installed map version 815.2022 and now it works great.

Good news! Now, make a full Explorer backup of your unit's contents with the new map.

I'm gonna do that tonight after work. Will that automatically override the one backup I did when I first openned the package on Christmas?

If you use Explorer (anbd this is a main reason we suggest using Explorer, not Home), YOU get to name the folder you want a backup to go into. So, create a new folder such as 'New 815 backup' and do an Explorer backup of the contents to that folder on your computer. Again, ensure hidden files/folders are showing.
