How to install map from computer to device?

I have a newer Europe map on my computer. But how do i install it to my device? (GO LIVE 820)

How did it get onto the computer? A map purchased from TomTom on one of those devices should normally download to the computer AND THEN install on the device.

You have MyTomTom, correct? (or else how would you have gotten the map in the first place?)

You aren't referring to a map for a different device that you are trying to install on the 820, are you? That won't work.

Clearly, we need more info from you in order to help.
