New Map Install

Hi

Well its been a long time since I did this and wonder if there has been any changes.

On my 6200 I installed enough maps to fill up internal memory, then I installed a UK and Europe Map, which it the put on my memory card, I then deleted first map and installed a UK and Ireland Map internal

Internal, UK Ireland
MicroSD Uk Europe

So smaller internal map loads up faster, and i can switch to Europe if I need to

So can it still be done like this?

I don't think you can install the same map in two places at the same time.

In my experience map openings are pretty much the same. The difference between a larger or smaller map is in downloading.

I have a Carminet TomTom which is in a 2010 Clio Enitiale.
The time has stopped working and just shows Dashes.
Does anyone know how i can rectify this

You can try to fix it by following this tutorial.

Ineens geen tijdsindicatie meer. Wel 9 satelieten ontvangst. Tijd is aan te passen/synchroniseren maar houd het niet vast. West Europa versie 11.65 alles opnieuw geinstalleerd en zelfs Quickfix verwijderd en opnieuw erop. accu los gehad oude kaart erin 10.02 maar ook daar zelfde probleem dat...

I have inserted my Card reader into my computer.
Pressed updates and it has wiped off my maps

You should be able to download the map again.

Remove the SD card.
Insert the SD card into your computer's card reader.
Launch the TomTom HOME application.
Downloading the map
Log in using your usual TomTom credentials.
Click "Manage my device" in the main menu.
Open the "Items on my computer" tab. Check the box for the map you wish to download again, then confirm.

In this case, contact TomTom customer service so they can make a map available on your account.

I have sent a email to TomTom as yet i haven't had a reply
I have managed to download some of it but won't download United Kingdom and Ireland map onto my memory card
Any idea why this is

If you downloaded it to the computer, have you tried copying and pasting it?

No i haven't as i don't know how to do that.
I'm thick when it comes to cut and paste lol
