Regarding my VIA1530: My drive says "installing content on your device 99%". Device says "updating do not disconnect your device".

It appears to be stuck at the above. What do I do. Thanks

Ignore warning. Unplug device (don't let it go to sleep or anything!) and replug device. Should finish up the installation.

What were you updating at the time?

I left it alone for a while longer after my post here and it finally finished. Took about 40 minutes after it got to 99%.

I don't know what I was updating. I know it was not a new map or firmware. I plugged my 1530 into my computer and it just started "updating". Nothing indicated what I was updating.

The only automatic update should have been the GPS QuickFix ephemeris files. Sometimes, they'll stay stuck at 99% forever, and need a bit of a kick in the pants. Glad it finished for you (finally).
