Beware of Tomtom helpline!

Connected my satnav to PC to update, & 4 times rebooting to version4.2.6 3888, but nothing, no maps etc, so phoned tomtom helpline, operator said your satnav needs repairing(105Euro) or you can buy a new one & get 25% off through them.
said I was not happy, satnav was 6 years old & in any case I did not have the money.
Later I checked the satnav, & found I had an additional memory card in there, took it out & everything works fine
Made a complaint to Tomtom but as yet no reply, had I listened to him I'd be £100+ out of pocket!!
