Hi guys,
Today I tried to update my car's (2011 Renault Megane 3, MonacoGP) on board carminat by connecting it to PC and using TomTomHome. There was multiple updates available (new sounds, GPS fix), but after I installed them onto the SD card, and plugged it back to the car, it started a boot loop.

FYI:
-The card is original TomTom, not some ebay second hand stuff.
-It is a LIVE system
-Without card it shows "no map found" and boots up
-I don't have recovery option in TomTom Home, so I can't put the before update files back to it

Do you have any simple solution to it?

The old Nav2 devices would sometimes go into a boot loop due to crashing on a corrupted mapsettings.cfg file.
You will find that in whatever folder holds your European maps. Unfortunately, it also contains your favorites and a few other things.

For now, please find the mapsettings.cfg file and MOVE it to somewhere on your PC where you can find it later. It should no longer appear in the Europe map folder.

Now, boot and see if things go well.

IF this works, and you need to recover favorites or other items we might recover from that mapsettings.cfg file, let me know.
