If you find that your unit (regardless of model) starts to reboot constantly after you've performed a map update, then do the following to resolve the problem (hopefully):
- Connect your unit to TomTom Home
- Start the emulator ("Operate my Unit") in Home
- Move to Manage Favorites
- Make a change to one favorite: (Add one, delete one or edit one, you decide).
- Create a "Navigate to..." or "Prepare route" route
- Disconnect your unit PROPERLY from the computer by using the little blue icon in the bottom right of Home's screen.
- Rebooting problem should be resolved.
