Clock display is 1hr out TOMTOM RIDER 500

Hi Forum,
I have just purchased this device, proceeded with all the updates, however the time which i believe is set by satellite systems read 1hr different to local time.

ie 17:48 real time is displaying 16:48

Anyone had this problem? theres nothing on the TomTom website.

Is the icon that indicates your current location grayed out?

Hi do you mean the navigation pointer? that is grey.

If it is gray, your GPS is not receiving satellites.

try to go to an area where there is a clear view of the sky, no trees or buildings, and wait for the GPS to pick up the satellites.

I haven't actually used the device yet ill try it on my motorcycle

The best way for it to capture a satellite position more quickly is to turn on the GPS and wait without moving.
