TomTom GO Basic / 4BA53A
Hi everyone,My TomTom (model 4BA53A, serial G41481T01347, hardware name lecco_5in) won't start normally — it gets stuck on the recovery screen with a computer icon and a red warning triangle. What I've tried so far:- I can enter recovery mode and connect via MyDrive Connect- MyDrive Connect recognizes the device and runs a recovery process, which reaches 100%- After the recovery finishes and the device restarts, it goes right back to the same red cross/triangle screen — stuck in a continuous loop- No SD card is inserted- Battery is charged above 90%- Tried different USB ports and leaving it connected for longer, no luckAny ideas on how to break this loop? Has anyone dealt with this on a NAV4 device specifically? Thanks in advance!

Hi
Have you reset the device?
Press and hold the power button until the device restarts.
Keep pressing the button until you hear the drum sound.

Then, start the recovery process.

I've done it many times, no change, red cross again. I try to enter recovery mode, but I never get to a spinning wheel

I assume you are following this procedure.
The trickiest part is pressing the button three times.

This is exactly the procedure I follow, but I must not be able to press the button fast enough ..... or at the right moment ..... I don't know. I've been trying for a few days now and it doesn't work
