tt 530 asking to connect to computer when not in dock

My 530 has started to ask to connect the pc in the car when being charged from the accessory charger - i say no then it switches itself off after about 10 minutes - can you help please - i couldnt find a 530 forum?

First step is to give the reset switch in the base a prod, you won't lose any settings doing this - Mike

Thanks for the quick response - yes i have done that and i have also reset the tom tom back to default settings

The other thing is that when the tt is in the desktop cradle it doesnt charge or start up tom tom home which it used to do?
