TomTom Model(s)
Go discover
I can’t connect to TomTom support as chatbot keeps telling me to log in when I’m already logged in. It’s driving me crazy as I’m going round in circles.
I’ve even contacted their head office directly in the Netherlands to get help with my device not connecting to the charger but all they’ve done is replied telling me to go the website.
Any help would be appreciated.

Can't help with the silly 'chatbot', but perhaps we can help with the connection issue.

The Discover mount is one of the better ones, with some of the least issues with connection to the device, though power connection to the mount can sometimes be problematic. Can you help by describing the nature of your problem?

The charger connecter won’t stay in the device so it won’t charge up. I’ve tried using other changes but I think it must be the socket in the device itself.

You must connect the USB plug directly to the suction cup mount, not to the GPS.
Why? He should also be able to use a mains charger indoors IF he has the right cable.

I thought it was in his car that he had a problem connecting his cable?
That is possible, but he does not say. All he says is "...help with my device not connecting to the charger."

However, saying that "You must connect the USB plug directly to the suction cup mount, not to the GPS." may be confusing. Even in the car, it is possible to use the device's USB port for charging/operation if there is not a mount available. With the device ON the mount, it is not possible to even see the USB port of a Discover device, much less connect anything to it, so I rather doubt the OP is actually trying to do that.

Using the device's USB port in a car weakens the socket with vibrations.
but hey, that's just my point of view.
