On page 2 of your menus, do you have an icon showing Enable (or) Disable Safety Alerts?

If it says 'Disable', then you DO have them enabled.

second question. can l find all poi files for canada like one file? or l have to download all them one by one?

in internet. all tomtom poi files in one rar archive. or can i convert igo poi file to tomtom? l have 40mb igo canada poi's

I suspect you want different categories, do you not? If so, you'd want to convert each category to tomtom's ov2 format.

You can get poi files from places like here:

and your included pois with the map you have will show pois in your area (the listings provided in some categories are quite useless, however...)
