TomTom XXL classic. Older map versions

Hi,
Is there a way to download older versions of the maps used on my device?

It's quite old and after trying to update it on TomTom Home, it's saying there are no maps. Looking into it it's because the device is no longer supported. I tried going though the official support channels but the best I got was a discount code for a new device. This isn't ideal as it is a lot of money and I need my satnav for work tomorrow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it's a confirmation that i have fully bricked my satnav and need to start looking for a replacement.

Yes, since that model is End of Life, no further map updates are available. Sorry.

What did you do that 'bricked' your device? Perhaps we can at least help you recover from that.
