TomTom Model(s)
rider 400. rider 550
Is product 1SC0.011.02 Brian Blessed UK Yards, supported on the Rider 550? If not, is that because of a technical incompatibility or because the product has been withdrawn from MyDrive?

Celebrity voices are no longer available in the online store, so TomTom has stopped assigning them to accounts.

Ah - thanks for that.

I suppose my next question is "Will my existing voice still work on the rider 550, providing I can find a way to extract it from my rider 400 ?"

It is not possible to extract the voice from the Rider 400 and transfer it to the 550.

However, provided the voice is compatible with the 550, what you can do is ask TomTom to add the file to your 550 account.

Thanks again.

Luckily I still have the invoice from when I purchased the voice back in 2017.
I'll see if I can find a way to email TomTom and ask them about adding it to my 550 account.

Thanks for the advice. I still have the original purchase invoice (Order No. 406440164, Invoice No. 9510715038) and the Brian Blessed voice is still working on my Rider 400. Unfortunately the support chatbot won't let me reach a human—it incorrectly says I must be logged in when I already am. Is there an email address or another way of getting Customer Care to add the voice to my account, or could this be escalated?

You can only contact TomTom via chat during business hours.

Sometimes, TomTom’s response is that a purchase made for one GPS unit cannot be transferred to another.

But there is no harm in asking.
