tomtom go 530 not works

I have one tomtom go 530 and after one year off not using it, dont works, i turn it on it lights but stays at tomtom logo and dont continues. when i conect it to pc, the pc dont reconize it, find the storage and more nothing. What can i do to resolve the problem

The first thing to try is doing a pin reset on the bottom of the unit in the dedicated reset hole there. Use a straightened paperclip to make contact...

I would also consider charging the unit by connecting it to the computer for a good three hours.
