Tomtom 1535

    My tomtom 1535 battery want charge even with a new battery. I sent email to ceo and I was told to discard my 5 year tomtom and buy a new one that has a warranty. I told the I would discard my tomtom and buy a new GARMIN cause they take care of there customers.

    Make sure you have the battery cables connected properly. Then, connect to the computer for at least 3 hours (device can be off) to fully charge the battery.

    Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds. Then see if it starts.

    (You are using the cable that came with the device, right?)
