Mount for GO DISCOVER 6"

Hello,
My brother has a GO DISCOVER 6" unit and has been trying to find a mount for it, as the one that came with the unit cannot hold the unit at the required position (it slowly tilts downwards; it seems the little sphere/ball is loose). He bought a new one (9UUB.001.40 I think) and unfortunatelly the same happened again after some time.
He would like to buy a new one with a ball tightening mechanism this time, like the 9UYB.001.04 but this is only available for 7" GO DISCOVER.
Could anyone advise a solution the tilting problem or a new mount with a tightening screw?

Line the ball with foil.

He has already used pieces of single use medical gloves round the ball, which temporarily fixed the problem, but has not used foil. I'll let him know.

In the meantime, is there any suggestion about a 6" inch mount with a ball tightening screw?
I guess the 7" mount is not compatible, right?

Correct, the GO 7 inch mount is not compatible with your GO Discover 6 inch
There is no mount with Tomtom clamping screw for your GO.
