Tom Tom Start 50

I have just purchased a Start 50. I have tried to download an image but it will not let me. The instructions say i should click on the MYDRIVE icon and then i should be able to download it, but whan i click on it the symbol just disappears. Also when i turn the tom tom around the image of the maps do not turn to align themselves with the tom tom screen. I am wondering if the one i purchased is faulty.


I have a start 20 as well and that one allowed be to download images and the screen would correct itself if it was turned so i assume the Start 50 should as well.

Just looked again and it does say when i click on the Mydrive icon it should show "Manage Community Content" but it's not there. Does this mean my Start 50 does not have this facility?

You can flip the mount on that model.

The Screen does not move when I turn the device around, is it supposed to or is it not on this type of device because the mounting is moveable,

Yeah, the screen itself does not shift when moved around like older models did. So the mount itself got changed.
