Safety Camera renewal..how to install?

I have just purchased a renewal for my OneXL safety camera subscription and would like some help in what to do next. Does my payment mean that I will automatically receive updates for safety cameras when I update my device or do I have to activate/download anything first? Would be grateful for help in this.
