Rider 2 Map upgrade problem

I have recently purchased an upgraded map for western Europe, after installing the map my rider 2 has no blue tooth option, I have had to reinstall the original system from backup. Has anyone else had this and how do i correct this situation

A map update alone wouldn't affect Bluetooth operation AFAIK.
Did you do a software update at the same time?

i assume that the software was updated when atomaticly when i asked for the upgrade, i still have the downloaded map on my hard drive can this just be coppied to my device SD card

Yes, you should be able to simply copy the entire map folder across.
Just for safety's sake though, make sure you have backed up everything first, before you do anything else.
