TomTom Rider Map Dissapeared

Hi, the western europe map has disappeared of my rider 2. TomTom home says there is only 44mb free but my rider says no maps are installed. I have tried to do a restore but it fails. Can anyone help?

Can you tell us exactly what do you mean by a "restore"?
Did you make a backup using TomTom Home, and it's that which is failing to restore? Or did you make a backup by the preferred method of copying everything using Windows Explorer (or Finder on a Mac)

It will be useful if you can find a "Europe" or "Western Europe" or "UK and IE" map folder anywhere on your PC using Windows Explorer's search feature. You can also check in Home in "Manage my device" for "items on PC"

Also, if you are still at the "No maps found" stage, have you tried the "ClearFlash" utility. (find it here)
