I have a 910 and i have the european map file on me computer and i tried to put it into my newly gifted 720 and it says that there is a pna.ini file that shpould not be in the archive and it wont install.

can anyone help me

I'm pretty sure the maps are tied to the device and can't be moved to a different GPS. But you would probably get better responses if you posted this to the 720, General or Tweaks forum instead of TomTom News

Normally the maps are indeed tied to a single Tom Tom, so they will not install on another one.

Due to software licensing, each map is "married" to only one device. You may purchase additional maps thru TomTom Home.
