New Map Need urgent help

Hi guys ..i have a tomtom One ..and got a Germany map from a friend cause i will travel to germany next week and need germany map fast.
but when i go into change map it dose not find that map !
what im i doing wrong ?
i really need that map fast, will drive car in there for a sudden trip, and no store had the map so i had to take the map from my frieand and now it dont work :s

I could be wrong, but I believe maps are tied to the device code or product code and only work on that device. I do hope you get it sorted out!
