'No addresses found within 6 mi'. Please help, I need to use a paper map until the last 6 miles!

I would be grateful if someone could help me.
I find myGO50 great for the last 6 miles of a journey,
When searching a postcode that is over 6 miles away, I get the message; 'No addresses found within 6 mi'. Please help, I need to use a paper map until the last 6 miles!
Can anyone let me know if I have my settings wrong, or if they experience the same problem.

When you first tap Search, it will most likely show ( Near me) in the top RH corner of your screen. Tap on it and you will be given different options. Select "Whole map" and now type your search term.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Everything is easy once you know.

Most of us who were very familiar with previous versions find the current NAV4 interface wanting.
There is a lot to be done in a not very intuitive manner.

Don't hesitate to ask any thing. That is the purpose of this forum.
