lock up? can anyone help?

TT1 XLS legal notice lock up? can anyone help?

i purchased a tom tom one XL s today and everything was working fine till i updated tomtom. while updating, it asked if to update the tom tom desktop software. after all the updates and disconnected the tom tom from the desktop software. i cant seem to boot my gps back up. it boots up and i guess a blank legal statement and whenever i touch on i agree, it goes no where. can anyone help??

i called tomtom this morning. excellent service and support.

if tomtom one xl s locks up on legal notice.

goto:
C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Download
delete all files in download folder.

connect tomtom to pc and run tomtom home
goto page 2 of 2 and remove items from my one xl

remove application and do not backup a copy

when removed. go back to tomtom home and page 1 of 2

update my one xl and reinstall the application.

device / disconnect device

boot up tomtom gps
