I just got alerted that there's a TomTom Home app Update.Is it worth the time?

I just downloaded it, it failed halfway through the install, something about a *.dll file. Original version won't run now. Tried turning off virus protection, downloading newest version from TT website and reinstalling - same problem.

I was on version 2.4 something, latest version is 2.6 something.

I have TT home 2.5...The message says to move up to 2.6 but by car_czar's account, I think I'll stick with the one I have.If there's no major additions.

Well, a link is here (bottom right of screen) to earlier versions of Home.

You could try to uninstall 2.6 again and try 2.4 or 2.5

As others have discovered it is never best to be the first kid on the block with all the new toys. Sometimes they do not work as advertised.
