Help? what's the difference?

Hi, I'm completely new to the world of sat nav and tomtoms. I just bought my first tomtom from a supermarket. I spent quite a lot of time with the sales assistant and thought that I had decided on teh Tom tom XL IQ Europe. When i got home and opened I realised I have come back with a Tom Tom One IQ routes edition for Europe. Can someone let me know if this is a big mistake and what the differences in functionality are?? I don't know whether I should go back to the supermarket to try and return it. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Its really only the scren size that is different between the two devices, I prefer the wider screen you get with the XL but thats down to each individual - Mike
