Help; adding and converting pictures

First of all I would like to thank everyone for all the posts. I know I read somewhere how to add pictures and what format to convert them to, I can't find the thread, Not sure what program to use to convert, Greatly appericiate all the help, Thank You I have the go720 with all the updates.

If you mean just for viewing or a slideshow - jpg images and they need to be in a folder called

photos (all lower case letters). It may already exist. If you use an SD card, create a folder with the same name there.

As for what size or resolution, that I have not narrowed down yet but mine are TOO large and take a bit of time to display. I think the ones on the 920 sample were fairly small. 480x274 pixels are the samples.
