cannot understand speaker

I have had my TOMTOM about a year but just got online to get accessories and updates,etc. Just lately it's gotten so that I can't understand the voice on the speaker unless I put the volume down to about 20%.Do they have a way to add an external speaker or will I have to send it in or ?

Does it happen with any voice you select?

Try a pin reset ....... may help.
