Can I upgrate my start features?

I used to have a one but now have a start.

The start has fewer features than my one used to have which i didn't appreciate ehrn i bought it.

It is missing really useful features like being able to miss out parts of a route, choose ahortest/quickest/scenic route etc etc

Can i update my start so it has these features?

All fine up to point '5'...

Copy the "SdkRegistry" folder that contains "tomtom.mnu" at the root of your TomTom GPS.

What does it mean by 'at the root of your tomtom GPS'?

The root level is where all the other folders reside on the unit. So, where you see folders such as art, bin, contacts, etc., is where you want the folder SdkRegistry to reside. In other words, you don't want to put that folder within any other folder on the unit.
