Questions on backups

1. When using TThome for backup where is the backup saved and how much of the data on the 720 is on the backup?

2. Is it best to back up using TThome or Windows explorer?

3. If Win Explorer is better whats the best way to do the backup? and why would it be better than TThome.

4. When usng TThome for backup does the latest backup over write the earlier one?

1. When using TThome for backup where is the backup saved and how much of the data on the 720 is on the backup?

Dependent on your Settings:

In Home goto Preferences | Folder Preferences

This will list where your downloads go, your backups and items you copy to your computer.

2. Is it best to back up using TThome or Windows explorer?

3. If Win Explorer is better whats the best way to do the backup? and why would it be better than TThome.

Use Windows Explorer and just copy & paste a mirror image of your removal disk drive created to a folder. Easiest way, there have been reports of problems with TTHome Backups.

Yes it does.

You're absolutly correct Phil.

Manage your TT's internal memory as any ordinary external/internal drive. Drag/Drop/Cut/Paste commands is deffinatly the way to go.

Using HOME will always be a "last resort" , unless absolutly neccessary.
