Advance lane guidance

Hello, I’m new here and I’m just hoping this is the right place to post this, I really need help, I’ve just got start 62 and can’t find how to set advance lane guidance, I used it the day after I got it and it wasn’t telling me, the instructions book only give minimal advice and I’ve tried playing around with it, as you do, the only thing that may work is the 2D or 3D bit. I got this model as it stated it included this. I’ve looked around online for help and found this forum, so please if you can help I’d be very grateful ( I need to use it on Monday) no pressure!

If you have seen ALG once, it is working all right.
I would never expect it on a B road although would expect to see it at every intersection on an M road in densely populated areas.
