Adding a POI

I'm trying to add some of the local Sushi bars into my TomTom XL 330.

I want to put them under the POI "Category" of "Restaurant". That's where some of the other Sushi bars are located.

So, here's what I did:
I selected "Change Preferences" -> "Manage POIs" -> "Add POI" -> At this point it wants you to select a category under which to put this new POI. Oddly, the "Restaurant" category does not exist in the available list. Yet, I know that the category exists.

What's the deal?

There are 2 classes of POIs...You are trying to get to the custom / non-MapShared POIs. You want to add to MapShare POIs as follows:

Start w/ "Map Corrections" instead of Change Preferences. You might have to hit the blue arrow to see "Map Corrections".

Map Corrections
Correct a map error
Blue Arrow
Add Missing POI
Restaurant...
