540tm Sound problem

I'm on my second 540tm and this one has worked flawlessly for the last month. Today it was working fine sound and all then I turned on the car and the unit and no sound. If you really listen or put your ear to the speaker you can hear it a little but sounds muffled. The volume settings all look ok. Not sure what happened? Any advice?

Initially, try resetting the unit by holding the power button for about 10 seconds till you hear the drum rolls.
