510 problem

510 plugged into cig lighter. Socket hot all the time. 510 on, started car 510 goes blank. green light still on. 510 won't come back on. Removed 510 from mount and green light still on, with no power plugged in to it. I then reset it with a pin in the little hole. Green light goes off, as soon as I press on button green light back on. Unit does nothimg. Any suggestions?

Hello pisspodepete, sorry to hear about your frustration. How long have you had your 510? You did the pin reset in the hole where unit connect to the mount, correct? I've read that pin resets should be done when your unit is charged. Charge your unit over night and do the pin reset in the morning. If you noticed no change, email or phone tomtom support.

Also, after a reset, you have to hold down that power button for a good 3-5 seconds.
