2050. Car charging cable

Hi i was wondering if the 2050 car charging cable disconnects into a usb port so i can use my own belkin dual usb cigarette lighter.

I need to charge gps and phone simultaneously.

Or this cable a one peice cable?

I would think the adapter would fit into a belkin cig lighter adapter without issue.

AFAIK, all new TomToms are being supplied with a single cable for powering and connection to a computer now, terminating in a standard USB plug: and a Cigarette lighter adapter with a standard USB socket.

So it'll work in your Belkin fine, but may not charge as fast as on it's own charger, (it'll depend on the current rating of the Belkin adapter).
