Using maps on two tom toms?

Hi,

I have a tom tom one 2nd Ed and a tom tom one 3rd Ed. I was just wondering if i brought a new UK & ireland map for it could i use the one map on both tom toms or do i need to purchase 2 lots?

What files do you actually get when buying a new map which i'm assuming you just over right the files already on the tom tom.

Any help would be great.

Your new map will be activated to only work on one of your units. It won't work on the 2nd unit.
