Updating Maps

I have a TomTom One 3rd Edition with 715.1712 maps. My brother just purchased a One 125.

I called TomTom and had them add the latest maps to his account (815.2022). I downloaded and installed them through TomTom Home.

Is there any way I can copy these updated maps to my One 3rd Ed? Is it as simple as a copy and paste of certain files from the 125 to the 3rd?

It's also worth mentioning that the 125 only has USA maps. My 3rd has USA and Canada. I would be fine with just USA, but would like to update just the USA component and keep the older Canada maps if possible.

Just curious.

Maps are locked to a single GPS unit. You cannot use them with another GPS.
