Updating maps.

Hi all, this problem has been logged with TT support and escalated to 2nd level but decided to see if any gurus can come up with an idea.

In addition to the info on my panel am running windows7 and googlechrome.

Have been offered maps Europe v9 but when I select the install button it greys out as if selected but then returns to solid black.

The unit has been rebooted by holding power button not only has the mytomtom cache been cleared it has been removed and reinstalled with the same result.

Comments suggestions welcome

Can you try Internet Explorer 8 or 9?

To get MyTomTom to use a particular browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome etc.) you need to change your default browser in Windows Control Panel (Internet options / Programs tab)

Situation now worse being told no maps. Have tried rebooting tomtom and reinstalling mytomtom bit being told something has gone wrong and server connection lost.

Any suggestions

If you clear the cache in the desktop's icon settings, you should be offered the map again.
