Payment Failure

I'm traveling to the US and therefore need to upload a World map on my Tom Tom GO device. I tried to purchase it three times, by paying with Paypal, then wiht my debit card, and finally with my credit card, but there was always a payment failure! I'm perfectly able to use all these payment methods for all the other purchases I have made these past few days, so the problem has to be with Tom Tom. However, the customer service hasn't gotten back to me on that one. I was only able to chat with an agent yesterday (after the first failure), and he told me to use another means of payment. But after the second failed attempt, the chat bot wouldn't let me through to an agent anymore. What can I do? I really need a solution quickly!

I suppose you want to buy a map for your GPS?

If the payment is refused by the bank security provider, it is because when you fill in your information there are errors in the requested information.

Purchases are secure. Tomtom cannot do anything to unblock the payment.

Thanks for your response. Yes indeed, I want to buy a map for my GPS. And I have definitely filled in the correct payment information - as I mentioned, I've been making payments with Paypal, as well as with my debit and credit card without any problems whatsoever - only with TomTom, there is a problem. So they issue must be with them!

Have you checked that the world map is compatible with your GPS?

try to buy the map with another computer.

You have to check with Tomtom support, you are here on an unofficial Tomtom forum so we cannot help you.

But I thought TT used Google Pay for their transactions (my Andriod app is paid for through Google), so this payment failure is not a TT problem, but a Google one.

Which GO device? There are dozens of them. First two characters of the serial number will at least let us know which TomTom app you're trying to work through.
