Referring back to My Drive Connect – before we could download the updated map, My Drive Connect required us to update My Drive Connect which we did and then download the map. After updating the device we then got the error message: No maps Available Reinstall a map you already own or go to the Tom Tom shop to buy a map.
During the factory reset process it tried to connect to My Drive Connect. That is when it said, that there is no internet connection and that it would connect when there is. This happened every time so, I uninstalled My Drive Connect and downloaded it again and it connected to the internet OK but only the once. After that it was back to saying that there is no internet connection and that it would connect when there is. Since then though it has been connecting OK. We are not aware of any issues with our internet connection.
