TT1 XL*S Version

Newbie question here, how do I know which version I have? I have a brand new TT1 XL*S, serial number starts with an L. Thanks!

XL-S is the ONE and only that has Text-to-speech. It's unique.

Cool, thanks! I kept reading about version 1, version 2, etc. etc., and did not know if I had a specific version.

The ONE line is confusing. They shoud have named them 301, 302 etc... instead. Just my rant.

The ONE line is confusing. There is the old ONE which has a few different versions. The new ONE 3rd Edition came out with the new TomTom software with Map Share and Help Me features (right?). The ONE XL is the widescreen version of the ONE and the new ONE XL-S is the only device in the ONE line with text to speech. I hope that might give a quick explanation of the ONE line (and not create more confusion). Good pick with the ONE XL-S. If I was looking for a new device its definitely the way I'd probably go!
