I check With Tom home and found the new maps and I was wondering if I can take my old card with my old maps on it and buy a new SD card and put the new maps on it in case something went wrong. and can I switch back and forward with the cards. Thanks

Yes, you can move maps back and forth from card to card, as long as they are used on the same Tomtom.

Maps are serial number locked, you can't use them in different devices.
